I'm a Master's of HCI student with a Bachelor's in Architecture and a minor in Computing & Media. I'm passionate about the value of diversity and interdisciplinary teams for sparking innovation.
How did I pivot from Architecture to Product Design?
I taught myself product design in my free time by relying on online resources, taking on design projects and competitions, and doing nonprofit design work through Bits of Good. I hope to grow even more during my Master's program!
How is my background in Architecture relevant to Human-Computer Interaction?
Well, I'm glad you asked. I’m interested in understanding how technology can inform, respond, and engage people within the built environment. As technology becomes increasingly ubiquitous, the design of technologies within our homes, schools, museums, and libraries will require a grasp on how spaces are best designed for people and surrounding context. Understanding problem spaces through the design lens of systems and environments is critical to situating solutions within a larger context.
But enough about design. I’m also a big foodie, avid knitter, gym goer, & switch gamer.

Now, I support the other designers in a mentorship role as the Director of Design.
